In 2015, we are hosting 3 major national training days, in addition to other conferences, and bespoke small group workshops and training. We are facilitating this specialist training at an affordable rate of £97 per delegate, inclusive of all day refreshments, lunch, and educational literature.

The training is focused on “Tackling Domestic Violence & Abuse In Faith Communities”. Topics covered each day will be:

The trainers are:

Kudakwashe Nyakudya – DVA Survivor & Founder Director, Kahrmel Wellness; Shahin Ashraf MBE – Project Manager & National Lead On FGM, Muslim Women’s Network; Damian Carnell – Director, End Gendered Abuse;  Alison Byrne – Specialist Midwife On FGM;  Justin Humphreys – Head of Safeguarding, Churches Child Protection Advisory Service; Penny Grant – National Partnerships Director, Parents Against Child Exploitation; Jatinder Birdi – Chairperson, Warwick District Faiths Forum; Ippo Panteloudakis  Operations Director, Respect UK; and Dr Lisa Oakley – Academic Expert On Spiritual Abuse, Manchester Metropolitan University.

This specialist training is especially suitable for multi-faith leaders, members of multi-faith communities, statutory service workers, academics, survivors of Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA), politicians, and professionals who work with victims and perpetrators of DVA in faith communities.

The training is also ideal for Continual Professional Development (CPD). Certificates will be issued to candidates who attend the full day of training. To book your place, please select the relevant link to the training location you require.
