In line with the vision for our unique initiative for empowering, educating, & equipping faith communities to effectively tackle all forms of Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) that occur in their environments, we are hosting the national educational conference specifically focussed on the church.
Dubbed “Tackling Domestic Violence & Abuse In Faith Communities: A FOCUS ON THE CHURCH”, the event is open to national Church leaders, other Christians especially those who serve in the church or in other areas of society, academics, politicians, survivors of DVA, & multi-discipline professionals who work with victims and perpetrators of DVA.

They will teach on the nature, consequences, & impact of DVA as it is experienced in the church / Christian community. They will give deep insight on the needs of adult and child victims in the church; and boldly emphasise on how to facilitate radical work with perpetrators of DVA, given that they are the key factors in causing DVA. They will also give direction on the best practical approaches to apply in a way that provides improved outcomes for adult & child victims. The church will also be inspired to become an agent of social change in society, especially regarding pandemics like DVA.
